Course Overview

The course provides an overview of the merged health and care sector and offers opportunities for you to enter the workforce in a range of roles. A range of ages, experiences and current job roles utilise this course to upskill and progress in health and care.

Previous students have used this degree to gain entry into roles within the public sector (for example care, human resources, housing and environment, education based or training roles, or advocacy), the private sector (agencies, support worker roles, admin and management) or the third sector (fundraising, coordination or support roles). Previous students have also used this course as a platform for further study in order to qualify as social workers, psychologists and lecturers, or to advance onto a Masters course.

We offer access to current key organisations and people within the health sector. We also provide a high level of academic support across the whole university to help strengthen your academic skills.
