Course Overview

Do you want to develop the modern computing skills needed to start a successful career in the sector? Freshly updated in 2021 with new syllabus content, this course will give you the skills employers in the computing sector are looking for right now. The CertHE provides an entry route to degree-level study and is a great option if you don’t have qualifications such as GCSEs or A levels.
This 1-year course is ideal if you’re unsure about committing to a full 3-year degree course. Once you’ve completed your CertHE, you’ll be able to continue onto Level 5 (year two) of your course if you wish to do so.
